The lead team of Autobots streams through the hills toward the Decepticons' fortress to stop the Destruction Beam at its source. Cosmos, the spaceship, flies excitedly above them. A smaller group heads for Center City to battle rumble and any Decepticons who might be there with him.

It doesn't take long for the lead team to reach the fortress. As Optimus Prime pulls to a stop, he cries, "We're going to storm the place! Beachcomber, stand in front of the entrance you found. When the doors open, Brawn will keep them apart. The rest of you rush in. Disable any Decepticons you find, but top priority is locating the lab and figuring out how to stop the Destruction Beam. Ready? Autobots, transform!"

The heavy doors open easily for Beachcomber and, as Brawn holds them apart, the Autobots run in to the fortress. The Decepticons immediately try to get into attack formation, but the Autobots disable them one by one.

In the heat of the battle, Optimus Prime maims Megatron himself with a laser rifle shot in the forearm. He grabs the Decepticon ruler around the neck. "Take me to your lab!" he shouts. "And it we're not there in two minutes, another laser shot will finish you off!"

Wordlessly, Megatron leads Optimus Prime down a long corridor. Beachcomber and Inferno follow. Behind them the battle rages.
