The three Autobots step into the dark, clammy cave. Beachcomber leads the others along a rocky passageway that seems to go on forever. Finally, the Autobots emerge into a shadowy space that looks like a storage room. On one side there's a door, and on the other there's a second passageway like the one they've just been in.

Beachcomber motions for Powerglide and Windcharger to keep quiet. He crosses the storage area and pauses by the door. There's a complicated lock on it, but that's no problem for Beachcomber. Skillfully, he picks it and pushes the door open. The Autobots tiptoe through and find themselves at the end of a long, brightly lit corridor. It is absolutely silent. The smell of evil is unmistakable.

"Okay," whispers Powerglide, "I'm gonna investigate the corridor."

"Not me! There's trouble brewing here," declares Windcharger. "I can feel it. I'm going back into the storage room to see what's down that other passageway."

Beachcomber looks from one Autobot to the other. Frankly, both plans scare him. But he knows he has to do something. Many lives depend on it.

If you were Beachcomber, what would you do?
