As Beachcomber and Powerglide sneak down the corridor, they pause at each doorway and listen. Nothing. The fortress was strangely silent. Why? Can it really be full of Decepticons? It sure doesn't feel like it. Are the Autobots walking into an ambush or is the element of surprise on their side? Beachcomber shakes his head in confusion.

At the end of the corridor, Powerglide comes to an abrupt halt and Beachcomber nearly runs into him. Powerglide signals him to listen. And suddenly Beachcomber hears the sound too--Decepticon voices!
