After the police announce that giant robots are attacking Center City, people begin to panic. Uselessly, they run screaming through the streets, ignoring the warning to seek shelter. In a matter of minutes, the roads leading out of the city are jammed. Traffic is at a standstill. Inside skyscrapers, the elevators get stuck as everyone tries to escape at once.

Optimus Prime looks at Beachcomber and Sparkplug in confusion. "We'll never find the mayor now," he says. "And by the way, where are the Decepticons? They're causing this mess, but we haven't seen one of them."

But something has just occurred to Cosmos. "Hey," he says, "I think we're causing the panic. Earthlings have never seen robots as big as us before."
