Beachcomber and Buster hide inside the fortress until the voices of Jessie and the Decepticons fade away.

"Well, now what?" says Buster.

"How should I know?" replies Beachcomber. "You were the one who wanted to come back to the fortress and find Jessie. Now you think *I* should come up with a ready-made plan?"

Buster is quiet for a moment. "I know I've been calling the shots," he says sadly, "but I've drawn a blank. Please, you've got to do something. You're a robot. You have weapons."

"I am one robot against many," Beachcomber answers quietly. "The Decepticons have spent a lot of time developing their weapons. And they can fly. We're dealing with some very tough enemies, and your friend and your home city need us. We've got to work together or we'll fail. That would be a disaster. Are you with me?"
