"All right, we can't hide forever," says Buster nervously. He glances around. He and Beachcomber seem to be in a dark, musty closet just inside the Decepticons' fortress. He feels along the rocky walls for a way out and his hands close over a doorknob. Very slowly, he turns it. He inches the door open. Nothing. He opens it a bit more. Beachcomber is right behind him. Buster opens the another fraction of an inch and—

BLAM!

The Decepticon Thrust is waiting on the other side of the door. He fires away, but Beachcomber and Buster manage to dodge the bullets.

"I've got you now, vermin," Thrust says in a smoother, low voice as he backs the Autobots into the closet. "What a nice surprise you'll make for Megatron."

"Oh, yeah?" says Beachcomber. He plays the world's oldest trick on Thrust. Glancing over the Decepticon's shoulder into the hall beyond, he shouts, "It's all right now, Buster! Help is on the way!" Thrust turns to face the imaginary enemy and Beachcomber and Buster push past him and race off, firing a few shots behind them as they run. One bullet glances off Thrust's metal head, stunning him.
