Beachcomber and Powerglide race back to the fortress' secret entrance and find Windcharger already there. In half a second, all three are outside the fortress and transformed into their vehicular modes.

The Autobots waste no time getting back to headquarters. Breathlessly, they call optimus Prime and the others together and explain Megatron's mad, ruthless plot.

"The Destructicon Beam is already on its way!" cries Powerglide. "It should reach Center City in about an hour and a half."

"We can stop it," says Optimus Prime calmly. "We must stop it. We will stop it! Autobots, transform and let's get to that fortress!"

"But shouldn't we go to Center City?" asks Windcharger. "Rumble is probably there preparing split the fault created by the Destructicon Beam and cause an earthquake. We may not be able to stop the fault line from being created, but we can stop Rumble."

He has a point. "Alright," says Optimus Prime. "I'll lead a team of the most powerful Autobots to go to one location, and a smaller team can go to the other." He pauses, thinking.

Cosmos asks the question everyone is wondering about. "But where should the lead team go? To the fortress to demolish the lab or to the city?"
