Staying hidden behind the boulders, Beachcomber transforms into his robot mode, then steps boldly in front of the cliff face into which Rumble just disappeared. What's going to happen? he wonders. Will the doors open for me or remain shut tight?

Much to Beachcomber's surprise, the doors immediately slide apart smoothly. Inside it's dark. Beachcomber sees a dim light and hears faint humming sounds. Hesitantly, he steps forward.

But suddenly, when he's only halfway through the doors, Beachcomber's sharp ears detect noises coming from the other side of the cliff. They sound like human voices. Are the humans working with the Decepticons? Beachcomber shudders. It's a terrible thought. He's sure he ought to investigate the sounds. But the doors are starting to close. If he leaves now, will they open for him again? Is this his last chance to check out the fortress? He has a big decision to make and very little time.
