Reluctantly, Cosmos remains with the lead team of Autobots on their way to Center City. He gets back into Optimus Prime's storage section and they race down the highway to catch up with the others. The Autobots take a quick detour off the main road so they can pick up their human friend Sparkplug, the mechanic. Optimus Prime knows that when the Autobots get to Center City, they'll need someone why understands humans.

"What's going on?" Sparkplug asks as he jumps into Optimus Prime's cab. The Autobot leader quickly explains about the Destructicon Beam.

The Autobots continue their journey and this time they do step on the gas pedal. About half a mile outside Center City, they turn off the highway onto a deserted road and park in a grove of trees. Optimus Prime address his army.

"Autobots," he says, "we must enter the city immediately!"

"In out vehicular mode?" asks Cosmos. "We won't be able to do much."

"But our robot mode is frightening to humans," says Inferno, a fire truck.

"Sparkplug, you're a human," says Optimus Prim. "What do you think?"

Sparkplug's answer is going to effect the future of every living creature on the earth.
