"I can't believe we're leaving Jessie back there!" exclaims Buster as he and Beachcomber drive away from the Decepticon fortress.

"We need help," replies Beachcomber as he speeds along. "There's no way we can save Jessie without the other Autobots with us, and we sure can't stop Megatron's foul Destructicon Beam alone. But, Buster, don't worry. We'll save Jessie. Besides, the Decepticons aren't going to do anything to her. She's more useful to them alive than dead."

"Great," mutters Buster.

By breaking the speed limit, Buster and Beachcomber reach Autobot headquarters in less than twenty minutes. They explain everything to Optimus Prime and the other robots—the whole story of the secret entrance to the fortress, the Destructicon Beam aimed at Center City, and Jessie's capture.

"Those…those CREEPS!" Brawn bursts out. "Just let me at them!"

"Patience," says Optimus Prime. "You'll get you chance soon."

More than two dozen Autobots transform into their vehicular modes. Buster climbs into Beachcomber, and they all take off for the hills.
